Tastes nice!

The Wildlife Deer Chili Seasoning works great for many different recipes. It is very reasonably priced at the current price of $10.99. My son in law hunts and my husband and I own a beef farm and I believe this seasoning would be great for both beef and deer, possibly pork. I do wish it was more mild but I am not huge on spicy food.

Complex, minimal heat, good for many uses

I don't eat venison at home but I was curious to try this seasoning anyway because I love chili. This is a pretty versatile blend. It has a very solid chili powder and parika base but its not one noted. Theres depth to the earthy chili-ness but very minimal heat. For my taste I'll still be adding more spices to this to kick up the heat and bring in some salt but this is an excellent starter base. Especially for my husband who doesn't know how to mic his own chili bases yet. Great product we will fully utilize.

Great for chili

I used it to make beef chili and it was delicious. Ingredients are straightforward, as the seasoning go well with different proteins. Nice flavor !

Wildlife chili seasoning to give your chili that extra kick

This wildlife deer chili seasoning works great in any chili not just deer. It has a more mild chili taste than I'm used to, but the flavors are well balanced and excellent. I like a little bit more heat but that also takes away from the subtlety of game meat if you're using deer to make your chili. I used it to make regular beef chili and it worked perfectly. It's a great blend of spices.

Robust

I love a good pot of chili and am always looking for a way to make my own recipe a little more unique. This spice blend does the job. It is robust and adds that missing touch to my chili. I was hesitant to try something with cocoa powder in it, but I truly think that that is what my chili was missing. It adds that little something that rounds off the flavor. I can’t wait to try this in more of my hearty dishes. It is good stuff.
