Turn up the heat with Wildlife Seasonings Spicy Boar Sweet Hot Rub.

This signature sweet-and-spicy blend pairs real Tabasco powder and paprika with brown sugar to create a bold, balanced heat on wild boar, pork, and chicken. It caramelizes beautifully on the grill, in the smoker, or in the oven for a bold, restaurant-quality crust.

Beyond the grill, this versatile rub adds a sweet-heat kick to French fries, baked beans, and other favorite recipes — and it's even a go-to for rimming cocktails like a spicy Paloma.

FLAVOR PROFILE: Sweet, Spicy, Peppery, Tangy Heat

SUGGESTED USAGE: Liberally season and rub into cuts of boar, pork, or chicken. Let the flavors penetrate the meat for about 10-15 minutes prior to cooking. Also delicious on French fries and baked beans, or rimmed on a cocktail glass for a sweet-heat twist.

INGREDIENTS: Paprika and other Spices, Brown Sugar, Salt, Dehydrated Onion, Dehydrated Garlic, Tabasco Powder (Red Pepper, Distilled Vinegar, Salt), Soybean Oil, and not more than 2% Calcium Silicate (added to prevent caking).

I made some wings tonight with white pepper, Shaoxing wine, Worcestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder and this seasoning. About 3 pounds worth- baked them at 400 degrees for 40 minutes in a convection oven and they were crispy, tasty and definitely something I will make again.this seasoning has a little bit of heat- perfectly balanced and so tasty! I can't wait to try it on some ribs or anything, really! This is a good ix of flavor, smoke and a little bit of heat.

I used this Spicy Boar Sweet Hot seasoning on some pork chops the other night. I’ve recently had some pretty major dental surgery and restricted to soft foods for the time being so I was unable to eat them. The seasoning smells good, and I did sprinkle some in my palm and taste it. It was very sweet (brown sugar) but I detected very little heat. I asked my husband and children what they thought of it and they liked it- it’s sweet and smokey but not hot. We do all like spicy food, so we probably do prefer more heat than most people. Going forward I’ll probably add some more either black or cayenne pepper. The ingredients list is pretty standard and I’ve included a photo.

This is really tasty! I love trying new seasonings and this one did not let me down! So far I've made two dishes with this seasoning. I made some ribs slow cooked in the oven, and I made some chicken on the grill. Both turned out great! So good!

I think that the name of this seasoning kind of makes you think you should limit it to pork. That is not the case. I used it on BBQ chicken, and it was delicious. It has a slight kick but isn't too spicy. I would probably prefer more spice, but I just add a little cayenne pepper to it. I enjoy the flavor of this. It's the perfect amount of savory and sweet.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it could very well be perfect for someone's taste, but it just is not for me. It tastes like a standard cheap BBQ sauce with a Tabsco aftertaste. It's just very unpleasant to me, and I unfortunately won't have a use for it.
