So good!

Been adding this to burgers, steaks, but not as a rub for BBQ. The next time we do a brisket on the Traeger, I will try this rub out. But, that's not going to be until the summer. As for a nice rub for red meats, though, it's DELICIOUS!

Great seasoning, perfect flavor for beef

I tried this on some beef short ribs I was smoking and the turned out great! Someone complained that it contains MSG, but I consider this a bonus! I use MSG as a seasoning frequently. It adds complexity and umami flavor. The bad rap it gets was part of a xenophobic smear campaign in the 60s. There is no evidence it causes any ill effects and glutamate is an essential neurotransmitter. It should be embraced because it enhances flavor (just like it does in this seasoning). Sorry for the rant, but companies should not fear using it because of ill informed consumers!

Smoky Flavor

You receive 5.75 ounces of product in a large spice container. This has a lovely smoky taste to add to beef, chicken or fish. The ingredients are Paprika and other Spices, Salt, Dehydrated Garlic, Monosodium Glutamate, Dehydrated Onion, Sugar, Maltodextrin, Natural Smoke Flavor, and not more than 2% Silicon Dioxide (added to prevent caking).

Decent flavor for meats

I enjoyed this flavor and would consider using it on ribs or brisket for sure. I think it could work on white meats too. It has a smoky taste to it and my family was mixed on how they liked it. If the ingredient list is good for you, I would give this one a try.

Contains MSG. Great BBQ scent

This spice blend has that iconic BBQ smell and flavor that we know and love. It goes well in meat marinades, and it sure does liven up the flavor. It’s got enough salt so that you don’t need to add that. It also has MSG in the ingredients list, so just be aware of that. I hoped that it would have more natural ingredients. Nonetheless, flavor is there and it’s got a nice charcoal-like flavor with some nice onion powder taste. Not a seasoning that I would go light on.
